MinimalPad runs ZMK firmware, not QMK/VIA. Configure keymaps, macros, and lighting through the browser-based ZMK Studio—no flashing or code editing needed for everyday changes.

If you’re coming from QMK/VIA, concepts such as layers, macros, and per-key RGB carry over through ZMK’s tooling.

Yes. Once paired, MinimalPad works as a standard Bluetooth or USB keyboard, with no drivers needed on Mac, Windows, or Linux.

For configuration, open ZMK Studio in Chrome or Edge. Nothing needs to be installed.

MinimalPad is available fully assembled and ready to use, or as a DIY kit with the SMD components pre-soldered for you to finish with a soldering iron and the build guide.

A battery and USB-C cable aren’t included. You’ll need a rechargeable 3.7V LiPo battery with a JST connector and a regular USB-C cable.

You have 14 days from delivery to return your MinimalPad for a refund. The item must be unused and in its original packaging.

If it arrived damaged, defective, or wrong, email support@minimalmacropad.com with your order number and photos first. For change-of-mind returns, email your order number to start one.

Yes. Email support@minimalmacropad.com to start an exchange. Once your return is on its way back, the new configuration can be shipped—or you can choose a refund instead.

MinimalPad covers return shipping when an item arrives damaged, defective, or wrong. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is paid by the customer.

Customs duties aren’t refundable by MinimalPad. On an approved return, the product price and any shipping charged by MinimalPad are refunded; duty claims go through your local customs office.
